The costs depend on the type of property and the situation. For example, a detached house requires more time than an apartment. Want to know our fees in advance? You can request this here.

We strive to deliver an appraisal report within 5 business days of the recording. 

During the appointment, we take measurements of the property and assess the condition of both the interior and exterior. We also examine and record the layout, level of finishing, and any notable features such as structural defects or recent renovations.

Make sure the property is easily accessible and gather all relevant documents, such as the energy label, completed questionnaires, and any VvE (Homeowners’ Association) documents. We’ll send you a checklist in advance. Please note that photos will be taken of all rooms.

There are many factors that influence a property's value. The type of property, living area, location, interior finish, exterior condition, and the quality of the surrounding neighborhood all play an important role.

We also compare the property with similar recently sold homes in the area and take (local) market conditions into account.

In most cases, yes. Banks want certainty about the value of the property and require a valuation report. You can discuss this with your mortgage advisor.
